Today I was laying on the couch, watching TV, a program that wasn't recorded, so I could not fast forward through the commercials. Then one came on that jabbed a sharp knife into my heart. The one about the crescent rolls. I am sure you have probably seen it, but to me it only brought pain.
You see, every year I would do the whole Thanksgiving day dinner for my small family, usually it was just the three of us, but sometimes we would have Jennifer's friends over...usually Eric, as his parents lived in China.
Jennifer's one request was for crescent rolls. She loved them. So I saw this commercial and all I could think about was her. And how we will never again have anything to be thankful for again.
